About the Opportunity

Is your company operating within the aluminum industry? Are you an entrepreneur who needs business development assistance in the areas of: Access to markets, financial assistance, business coaching and training and/or a better understanding of what products can be made from aluminum?

ABI is a non-profit company that aims to grow aluminum fabrication and beneficiation in South Africa. The strategic vision for the organization is to identify and support 100 entrepreneurs in the aluminum fabrication sector and guide them into sustainable businesses within two years, resulting in these businesses each reaching annual consumption of at least 50 tons of aluminum.

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualifying ABI participants are expected to be:

Operating in the Aluminum Sector
At least 51% black-owned
and/or 30% black women owned.

Prospective participating entrepreneurs are either at an early development stage or at a growth stage but could also be at a more mature stage in their business cycle
